The Acton Foundation for Entrepreneurial Excellence (AFEE), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is designed to encourage successful and aspiring entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and insights.
In 1990, a group of successful entrepreneurs with a deep commitment to the free market, and a calling to teach, developed entrepreneurship courses at The University of Texas that would become the basis for the Acton curriculum.
Today, that curriculum is taught at universities throughout the country and around the world, including the Acton School of Business in Austin. But the Foundation's commitment to helping aspiring young entrepreneurs extends beyond the classroom. AFEE is establishing affinity partnerships from coast to coast, introducing the Foundation's articles, tools and courses to tens of thousands of entrepreneurs through organizations such as Junior Achievement, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization and the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
